Enjoyed a beautiful weekend at Lake Berryessa with the Leung family.

Kids loves going on the pontoon being pulled by the boat & diving into the lake from the boat and just swimming into the nice warm water!

First Day of school

Today was the first day of school for both kiddos - Alexa's starting TK and Nolan is in 1st!
It's so great having them at one school now - we got to walk to school together, and they got to play together in after school care. So thankful to have them together!! ❤️

Alexa's last day of preschool

Today was Alexa's last day of Preschool, and she went out in total fabulousness with her Elsa outfit!
As a thank you to all her teachers/staff, we gave gift cards for Starbucks with thank notes attached to coffee cups. Love that school!
But tomorrow, we're off to Bagby!!

Coming home from Camp!

It was Robert, Connor, and Nolan's last day of camp at Saratoga Springs.
Alexa and I went to pick up these 3 rascals, then all headed off to The Habit for delicious grub!

Little cowgirl

We went to a birthday party with a petting zoo and horseback ridding (wow!). Alexa, being the animal lover she is, was excited to pet all the animals and was absolutely thrilled to ride the horse! Adorable little cowgirl :)
As a side note: no, Nolan was not willing to do either. Not surprising :) But I don't blame him; his momma is not trying pet those smelly animals either.

Off to Camp!

Nolan, Robert, and Connor are off to camp today! The 3 boys will be at Saratoga Springs camp for their last week before school starts. Nolan was so giddy this morning to be going to camp with his cousins :)
Thank you, Auntie Jenn, for dropping off & picking up the kids this week from camp! You rock!!!!

Mommy & Alexa Day

Alexa and I had our Mommy & Alexa Day today. On Monday when I was trying to get Alexa ready for school, she was really upset and wanted to stay home with me all day. She then said, with tears in her eyes, "We haven't had a mommy and Alexa day in so long!"
How do you turn that face down? You don't. So I took the day off today, and Alexa got what we did all day.
First, she wanted to have a pink sprinkle donut (her very first donut ever today!) She wanted her big brother there for that part, so he joined for donuts before going to his summer camp for the day.
Second, she wanted to play at the park, so we played on the Farnham playground for a couple hours.
Third, she wanted to take a walk around our neighborhood...in her stroller.
Fourth, she let me do a quick return, then we went to Party City to pick a toy (she chose a lipgloss in a heart case attached to a necklace.)
Fifth, she was tired and wanted to watch a movie in her bed....where she quickly fell asleep.

It was a good day!
