Nolan's new kitchen

While visiting an open house, Nolan found this little kid's kitchen in one of the bedrooms.  He could not get enough of this amazing thing:  all the knobs he could turn, all the doors he could open and shut...it was just awesome fun.  So Francis and I decided to get Nolan is own kitchen.

Not only did he LOVE "helping" Francis build the kitchen (he really digs daddy's tools), he shortly thereafter made me a delicious breakfast on his new stove top :)

Bliss is....as you cuddle and rock your child to sleep, he looks up at you with a big smile and says "happy".

Our Favorite Pastime

One of Nolan's favorite activities these days is playing the car. If you let him, he would play in there for hours!

He presses buttons, steers the wheel, climbs between the front and back seats...and always makes sure you have your seat belt on!

Daddy's Helper

Today we started dis-assembling the office in our home to make it Nolan's new bedroom. Since Baby Girl Smith is due in a few months, we wanted to get moving on Nolan's new room, equipped with rockin' new bunk beds!!

Nolan can't resist playing with daddy's tools and "helping" him take apart the furniture. He's already quite the handyman!!

Counting to 11

Nolan can count to 11 now!  As we walked down the stairs, he and I counted the stairs together.  My amazing, smart little boy was able to count to eleven!!  Go Nolan-man!!
