The kids picked out the flowers, and we all planted. Now let's see how long we can keep them alive, since there's no sprinkler there!

Dad,
Rarely does a day go by, still, that I don't think about you. All the things we've missed out on because you weren't here with us. All the things my children have missed out on because you aren't here. I still feel robbed of the time with you.
What I am so fortunate to have, however, is an incredibly strong family that YOU built. Because you loved us fiercely and put every ounce of your energy into making sure we were well taken care of.
We love you so much. You truly deserve to be here with us. I love you, and Happy Father's Day.

Rough morning

It was a rough morning for Alexa. I had to wake her up from a deep slumber - after a full day of swimming on Sunday, it made Monday morning especially tough.
I love the look on her face and the crazy hair, though ;)
