(Almost) ready for a haircut

When we went to get Nolan's haircut, Alexa seemed really excited to get up in the chair, too. So the hairdresser (Tracey) recommended we put Alexa in the chair so that she wouldn't be scared when she eventually got her haircut.
Tracey then put the cover over Alexa, and Alexa was thrilled with the look!

Too damn early!

For the past few weeks, Alexa has been waking up between 5am and 6am (versus she previously was waking at around 6:30am). Ugh, child.

Nolan wrote his name backwards. What was really impressive to me was how he even wrote the "a" backwards.

Lately, Nolan likes to rock with Alexa and I when I rock Alexa to sleep at night.

A couple nights ago, as we rocked together, Nolan turned to me and whispered, "I am so happy she's here."

Man oh man. It literally brought a tear to my eye. I then responded, "Me, too."
