Halloween 2019

Halloween 2019. We had an awesome pre-party at our house (but I failed to get any pics ). Luckily I do have a some pics of the kids’ costumes! Nolan was Link from Legend of Zelda, and Alexa was Evie from The Descendents movie.

Already slacking on homework

Me (helping Alexa with math homework): "Focus and read the problem so we can finish this assignment. We still need to do your reading homework."

Alexa (eyes get big, big smile erupts on her face): "Mom, are you thinking what I'm thinking?!"

Me: "Uh, what are you thinking?"

Alexa: "since this homework requires us the read the problem, then we also finish our reading homework at the same time!"

Alexa made this beautiful silver top in the fashion studio at Steve & Kate's camp. She used the sewing machine to create this piece of art! I'm impressed!

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Happy birthday to my amazing dad, who I was lucky enough to have in my life for 27 years. He was so funny (especially if you could appreciate some good sarcasm), smart, and truly a good man to the core. And, man, he could rock a 'stache like no other!
He would have been 71 today. Not a day goes by I don't miss him, but grateful to have had that amazing man as my father. Happy birthday, dad!

Trip to Cabo, Mexico

We had a fabulous time on our trip to Cabo, Mexico! The trip was started because our friend Gail Readdie was having a destination wedding there. So we decided to make a fun family trip out of it.

We stayed at the Villa del Playa hotel, which had a large whale water slide. The kids just loved it!
