When I breastfeed Alexa, she often gets distracted when Nolan is around. She will pull if, them watch and laugh at Nolan's activities.
Today was no exception. The only difference this time was that Nolan decided to help Alexa latch back on.
As Alexa laid there trying to watch Nolan, Nolan came over and grabbed my breast and tried to put it into Alexa's mouth to feed her. He then said, "Here you go, baby, here you go!"
Ummm, awkward!

It's a tough life...
It's a tough life...having to watch Thomas The Train while wrapped in a warm blanket, holding his cup of milk, and snuggling Doo-Doo Bear.

"Baby needs chocolate milk"
If you've been around Nolan enough, you know that he refers to any milk as "chocolate milk" (sounds more like "choc-ate melk" in his vernacular). This started around 6 months ago because his cousin Connor always asked for chocolate milk, so Nolan started asking for the same. However, as he had no idea what it really was, we continued giving him regular milk (but called it chocolate milk). He was happy, and we were pleased he was still content with regular milk :)
Anyway....today, we were struggling to feed Alexa via bottle, but she is steadfastly sticking to the boob. So after a long battle and lots of fussing, I gave up for a bit and let her play. Nolan then grabbed the bottle, laid down with her, put the bottle in her mouth and said, "Baby needs choc-ate melk!" What's crazy is that she actually took a few sips!
He is such an amazing bug brother! I hope that continues!!

Alexa slept 12 hours!!!
Last night, Alexa slept 12 hours!!! Well, to be exact, it was 11 hours 45 minutes. I'm going to give her the trophy for 12 hours anyway :)
Alexa has been sleeping 10 hours very consistently for several weeks, but we finally hit the 12 hour mark! This girl rocks! If only we could get Nolan to sleep as well as Alexa does....

High Fives & Kisses
Today at Kelli & Mike's White Elephant Party, Nolan was running around with all the kids there.
He then randomly ran up to me and said, "Mama, High Five!" as he held up his hand. I high fived him, and he then gave me a big kiss on the lips!
I like this high five and kisses thing. I think I'll have to try it with Francis, too!
