Christmas Movie Night

As we got dressed this morning, Alexa put on her clothes and a charming little necklace to top off the outfit. The she looked in the mirror and said, "oh my god, I am gorge!" (Definition of gorge = in teenager vernacular, it means gorgeous)
Where does she pick up this stuff?? She's four! That girl is too funny.

Jammies from Connor

Alexa always gets excited for all the jammies handed down from cousin Connor. Superheroes and Pokémon...winners! (Especially when worn together, and with her fuzzy socks. Fabulous!)

Potion or "poshens"?

Nolan loves making potions, especially since he got a potion kit/lab kit for his birthday.
We have a lot of sketches of his lovely potions :)

Making potions

Nolan got a science kit (aka potion kit) for his birthday. The kids have LOVED making many magic potions together, such as night vision potions and super strength :)

Halloween cuteness!

These two cuties had a fabulous time on Halloween! They both trick-or-treated for HOURS! That wasn't surprising for Alexa, but it was for Nolan since he normally just goes to a few houses and then wants to come home to give out candy. He was so brace this year!

Nolan was a police officer, since he wants to be a "teacher police officer" when he grows up. Alexa was supergirl, since it's simply fabulous.

Pierced ears!

Alexa got her ears pierced today. She's been asking for them for a couple months, and Francis finally agreed (he wasn't so sure about little girls getting their ears pierced).

There were some tears for a few seconds, but then big smiles when she saw those sparklers in her ears!

Nolan's out-of-this-world room

After taking down all the wall art in our house for the painters, I decided this might be a good time to update Nolan's room decor (from his little trucks decor).
I showed him a few options, and he emphatically chose the solar system wall decals I showed him. I later found the stars for the ceiling, and this out-of-this-world room was born!!
Nolan seems to really love the update!
