Last Day of School!

Today is the last day of 1st Grade for Nolan, and TK for Alexa.
I know it sounds cliche, but honestly this year really has flown by!
Onto bigger and better things...2nd Grade and Kindergarten!

Field Day at Bagby

As the school year is finishing for Nolan (1st grade) and Alexa (TK), we got to end the school year with an awesome Field Day. Tons of bounce houses, obstacle courses, and activities for the kids from 8:30am to Noon.
I was lucky enough to volunteer for Alexa's class & hang out with these cuties! They named our group "Team Animal Cubs" ❤️

Text from Alexa

Today, while I was in the kitchen, I received a text.
The text said, "Mom can I have yogurt pes"...and it came from Alexa!
Normally I get texts of pictures or a word or two, but this time it was a whole sentence! I was so impressed, I brought her that yogurt (as she sat patiently waiting on the couch) PLUS a hug.
