Nolan has been saying "damn it" lately. We've asked him not to use that word anymore, so when he gets mad now, he says, "I'm so mad! But I'm not going to say dammit!"
Uhhhh, we'll keep working in this one ;)

Scooting & Strolling
Nolan speeds off on his scooter, and Alexa pushes her wagon (she prefers that to actually sitting in it ;)

That's a nice look, Alexa!
Just a shell necklace, diaper, and pretty silver shoes. She picked the look all on her own. Fashionista!

"My pippo is getting bigger"
While Nolan was in the bathtub today, he points down to his penis and says, "My pippo is getting bigger! Did you see that my pippo is getting bigger?"
Hhahaha, too cute!
Hhahaha, too cute!
Ice cream man visited!
The ice cream man came through the neighborhood today. Quite the exciting event for the little ones!

Snacking like a Boss
Nolan is snacking like a Boss with his Spider-man sunglasses on. But he's always a good big brother, never forgetting to share a little with Alexa :)

Alexa's vocabulary
At the age of 10 months, Alexa had a vocabulary of several words. Then from the age of ~12 months to 15 months, Alexa stopped saying any words other than "dada". We learned that she wasn't hearing much due to fluid in her ears.
After her ear tube surgery (it's been about a month) we've seen a HUGE difference!
Here's the words she's now gained in the past month:
1. Mama (finally! Yayayayay!! It really broke my heart that she couldn't say my name)
2. Nana
3. Dada (that was the one word she never stopped using)
4. Car ("cah")
5. No
6. Mine (this is one of her favorites)
7. Dog ("dah")
8. Cat ("Caa")
9. Cracker ("caw-ker")
10. Car
11. Bottle ("bah-l")
12. Hi ("hi-eee")
13. Bye bye
14. All done ("ah duh", which she said before her ear problems)
15. Go
16. Peek
17. Ta da! (she uses this when she does her jumping tricks)
18. Owl
19. Bear ("bee")
20. Nose
21. Book ("boo")
22. Bubble
23. Dot ("Dah, Dah, Dah" she says, as she draws dots on her white board)
24. Lay down
25. Airplane
25. Bird
In addition, she's making animal noises:
1. "ooh ohh ahh ahh" (monkey)
2. "Wooo wooo" (dog)
3. Snorting (pig), which is more of a strong breathing
We've been so happy to see her amazing progress since getting her ear tubes!!
