"...I was sad"

Today, while I was making a quick trip into the store, Nolan waited with Francis in the car.
Apparently Nolan got very upset that I left and said to Francis, "I want to see Mommy. I was sad."

Alexa has been working on her tummy time. She is generally not pleased with with being forced to do push-ups!

Gifts for the new neighbors!

Since we have been overwhelmed by how sweet and friendly some of our neighbors have been (many of them stopping by to introduce themselves - even getting gifts of plants, cookies, gift cards, and wine from a few of them!), I decided to make some English Toffee holiday packages.

I have to say that I was pleased with the results! The candy turned out quite delicious!

Given Nolan's obsession with trains, Francis decided to continue to "feed" that obsession (pun intended) with an awesome gingerbread train kit!

Francis, Nolan, my mom, and I all worked together to make this beautiful piece of art. Nolan LOVES his "Thomas cake"!

Francis has been crawling under the house to fix some wiring and pipes. In addition to having his clothes covered in mud, he also gets this awesome unibrow look!

Nolan drew this beautiful picture. When I asked him what it was, he said "It's Daddy!"

Francis was so impressed with the likeness to him ;)

Adoring Brother

Nolan absolutely adores his sister, constantly giving her kisses and wanted to hold her ("I kiss the baby"..."I hold the baby!").  And Alexa definitely feels the same way - she just smiles and coos whenever he holds her :)
